Molecular sieve NaY（Na56[(AlO2)56(SiO2)136]·XH2O）is a kind of alkaline metal aluminosilicate salts with Ytype crystalline structure of sodium salt. It can absorb molecules with critical diameter not more than 10. It mainly used as catalyst or catalyst carrier.
Molecular sieve NaY suitables for molecules that can be absorbed by 3A, 4A, 5A type molecular sieve and some molecules with small critical diameter, like aromatic hydrocarbon or branched hydrocarbon.
The assynthesized NaY molecular sieve was characterized with SEM,XRD and BET. The NaY molecular sieve had a particle size of approximately 2μm,n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3) of 3.28,crystallinity of 90% and specific surface area of 703 m2/g.
